Friends' Testimonies

Integrity

The testimony of integrity calls us to wholeness; it is the whole of life open to Truth. When lives are centered in the Spirit, beliefs and actions are congruent, and words are dependable as we achieve wholeness in ourselves, we are better able to heal the conflict and fragmentation in our community and in the world.

Integrity is a demanding discipline. We are challenged by cultural values and pressures to conform. Integrity requires that we be fully responsible for our actions. Living with integrity requires living a life of reflection, living in consistency with our beliefs and testimonies, and doing so regardless of personal consequences.

Pictures from the Rally in Support of Whistle-blower Bradley Manning

by the Website Committee, La Jolla Meeting

Gil Field of La Jolla meeting provides this link to pictures of a rally held in San Diego on Sept 19, 2010. It was sponsored San Diego Coalition for Peace and Justice (SDCPJ), along with the San Diego Veterans For Peace and other peace groups.

The rally was called in support of PFC Bradley Manning, who was arrested in May 2010 for allegedly leaking the video of US Apache helicopter pilots killing innocent people and seriously wounding two children in Baghdad, including those who arrived to help the wounded.

In addition to pictures of the rally, the page contains the (very disturbing) footage that was released to Wikileaks, and footage from the rally itself.
